~My Cambodia Experience. My Memories~

Time passes really quickly when we are doing good deeds and also having fun. it seems like we had been at Cambodia for only a day but it was actually 4 days there.

It has been the first time for many of us to be in Cambodia and helping the villagers there. I had always thought that Cambodia was a very uncivilised country and that the place will be dirty and unclean, but when i reached  Cambodia it totally changed my opinion of that country as i was not that dirty that i had imagined it to be.I guess the most important person for our this four days was Mr Pisey, without his clear explanations of the various places we would not be able to know more of Cambodia and the other important person was the chef that followed us for that four days. The food was awesome for us and it was even better than those food we had for camp.

We built a Water well and also a water filter for the people there. I hope that our hard work has paid off as the villagers can enjoy the well and water filter that we had built can really help them more than before. We also had a awesome trekking experience as we were also learning some of the stories about the place that we trek. We reached the waterfall and had a good time in the cooling and refreshing water. We went to the Tuol Sleng Museum and the killing fields which was really saddening to see the pictures of the people who got tortued to death and there was a man who suffered the torturing and he wrote a book about the experience.
If had the chance to go to Cambodia, i would surely go and help those less fortunate people there. Through this trip i had learnt that water is very precious and we should not be wasting it.
