My Cambodia experience. My memories.

Sadly, we have to return back here, Singapore. Having to leave the AWESOME country, Cambodia :D

I feel that Cambodia is a very authentic place. I enjoyed the whole trip with the Cambodians as they were friendly and easy to interact with. In this whole trip, the person that I most respect would always be Mr Pisey. Without his professional tour guide experience, I would not be able to learn so many valuable information about Cambodia. With his help in Cambodia, the country soon became less of stranger to us and soon became a small home of ours, I think. I have to say that we spend much time in the bus traveling here and there, however, it was not boring, unproductive or even the least lame. The whole bus was definitely filled with passion, eagerness, dreams and also SNORES. Looking at all the leaders sleep in the bus, made me feel that we did our best and gave our 110% which caused everyone to sleep like a log. Nevertheless, was there noise and fights in the bus. The whole bus could here my voice! Almost everyone said that I was very loud and IRRITATING :) I could barely control myself with such a great enthusiastic team of leaders. We did many crazy things but when it comes to work, we are definitely serious in it and also putting our best to make the Cambodians' lives better. We built a water well and water-filter which we hope that it could ease their lives. Even though the process is a little tough, we never gave up, having the determination to strive our goal. In the end, we succeeded, we could see the smiles of the people there after knowing that we did it. We also gave them some rice, noodles and donations from our homes. After all the tiring work, all of us had scrumptious food as a reward. ( I meant all the meals ) We also had the chance to enjoy the waterfall after an adventurous trekking. It was all worth it when we arrive at the waterfall. We even managed to deep ourselves into the refreshing water to relax ourselves.

We even had the chance to stay in a hotel :) Had so much fun with the other leaders, we enjoyed all the snacks that we bought at the supermarket. Their items there were so cheap >< Must buy. Our last few stops were the Tuol Sleng Museum and the killing fields. That place was an eye opener, learning and seeing all the pictures there really made us pity the people that experience it. The last stop was the Russian Market. The items there were very creative and cheap as I have hardly seen such things in my life. Everyone should go there and see for themselves and also experience a day with the Cambodians, to see how their daily lives are.

I really wished that I can go back to Cambodia on my own and discover things that are not told or explained. All of us should not stop here, after witnessing everything that happened in this 4 days. This is what I feel, experienced and also my precious memories of Cambodia. I hope everyone can enjoy and learn a thing or two from this report of mine :D CHEERS
