My Cambodia Experience, My memories :D

This is the first time of me going to overseas and do CIP for other people. It's probaly the once in a lifetime experience for me as I would not know if there is a second time! I enjoyed this trip alot and it turns to be lively that I had expected.

When I know that there is a 2 nights homestay at the village, I thought that it will be a place which it is not comfortable at all and it is hard to turn in during the night. But I was totally wrong. It's a small room but it has nets to prevent insects from coming in when we are sleeping and there are blankets, matresses and pillow for us to sleep on. In fact, I turned in the moment I lay on the bed. It's quite comfy actually.

The village people were very friendly and they always carry a smile on their face. Though they maybe poor, but they are happy. Which cant bought be money. Though I dont know what's the reason of them being happy despite of their current situation but I feel that we should appreciate of our own surroundings and appreciate that we are lacked of nothing compared to them.

On our way to the CIP venue for the building of well, I really had to be brave even though I am really scared as there are many dogs and cows which I most afraid of. But when we reach there, we started our CIP as soon as possible. We started to mix the sand and cement together and my group is the Educational Group, in-charge of building the walls of the well. Looking at the villagers just using the axe and hit the nails into the pole 3 to 4 times, I was thinking that it's such a simple task. But when I try, I laughed at myself. I cant even manage to hit half of the nails inside to the pole and instead, the nails flew away. What a disgrace!  But our hard work paid off as the villagers were very happy that we had built a well for them.

Third day, we went to trek at the waterfall! It's a wonderful experience ! We sat on the Ox cart, it's a nice experience as it was my first time. Once, the cart nearly overturn. It scared the hell out of me. After that, we have to get down and start to trek. Though I've trekked many times, but I still feel that the trek is the most tiring though. There's so many uphills slope for us to climb up. Initially, I wanted to give up because I seriously think that it's very tiring. But as I hear the waterfall, I decided to perservere. The more I go up, the more cooling it is! Finally, we reached the waterfall. We happily jump into the water and have some cooling sessions! It's the best memories I had in Cambodia. When we going down I slip 9 times. With bruise on my legs but it's my own responsibility to take care of myself. Thus after I told myself that, I fell even less or rather I did not fell.

After meetings and meetings, neglecting my CCA, I felt that it's worth it afterall. The mass dance everyone did a very good job and happy that I have this chance to go to cambodia and letting me knowing new friends and having memories in Cambodia.
